Job overview

We are looking for an efficient and enthusiastic IMS manager to join us.

In this role, you will be responsible for the management and provision of support services to users of the Inventory Management Systems (IMS) ensuring the flow of goods is captured and all associated processes are completed in a timely manner whilst following all Trust policies and procedures and Health and Safety requirements.

With the implementation of new structures & systems and continued national developments this is an exciting time to be part of Procurement. ESNEFT Procurement is a progressive department, looking to integrate with clinical and operational colleagues, define innovative ways of working and delivering on financial target.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for the management and provision of support services to users of the Trust’s preferred Inventory Management Systems (IMS)  To provide direct leadership and line management of the IMS teams at various ESNEFT sites The adoption of a flexible approach towards any supplies activities undertaken and a requirement to provide management support where it is required on a daily basis  Overseeing the organisational logistics in connection with Track & Trace and relevant supply chains To co-ordinate and facilitate training for key stakeholders in relation to IMS adoption & operation Advise and assist operating theatres teams in the capture of implants at point of care Management of key communications for both internal & external stakeholders. To assist in the contract management of 3rd party providers and associated service/system provision
