An exciting opportunity has become available to be part of a support team within the East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust in the Validation of Referral to Treatment (RTT) Team.
Full Time & Part Time hours would be considered
We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and well-organised RTT Validation Clerk to work within the ESNEFT trust across both Colchester and Ipswich hospitals. Experience in all IT Microsoft systems are essential as part of a small team, but also interacting with all departments and specialities within the Trust.
This is a great opportunity to gain a wide range of knowledge, and become a skilled team player, who will provide a support service to our specialities across ESNEFT. Within the role, you will become a point of contact for services for patient pathway queries, you will be involved in the improvements and process changes to help support best practice.
You will become an expert in national RTT rules and our Access policy, along with possessing the skills and key competencies to support the needs of the department, as set out in the person specification. You will need to be organised, conscientious and have patient care as your primary concern.
You should have an understanding of RTT pathway rules as well as awareness and understanding of other national targets. A professional and mature working attitude with the ability to liaise with patients and staff at all levels.
- Proactively monitor and track 18 week pathways in order to ensure that patient journeys are processed in a timely and efficient manor in line with nationally and locally defined targets.
- To ensure that data is validated throughout the patient journey and inputted correctly into local systems
- To monitor report and track patient’s pathways, identifying and addressing potential breaches, data errors or pathway errors and escalating through the correct channels for remedial action.
