About the Role:

As the Engineering Administrator at Ferrero - Eat Natural, based in out Halstead, Essex Plant, you will ensure the efficient ordering of parts and services, with timely escalations as needed to meet deadlines. You will manage deliveries and returns, following up on any outstanding queries. Additionally, you will oversee the engineering shift rota, ensuring all team members are informed of key changes. You will also be responsible for creating and updating records for new machinery, as well as logging and communicating information about decommissioned machines.

Main Responsibilities:

As the Engineering Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering department. You will be responsible for creating contractor approval forms for new suppliers, ordering parts and services, and managing the entire process from start to finish. Additionally, you will log and receipt deliveries, handle the return of goods, and follow the refund process. Your duties will also include ordering and managing engineering stationery and auxiliaries as required, as well as managing account queries with suppliers. Collaboration with the Engineering Team and third-party suppliers will be essential to your role.

You will oversee various administrative tasks, including the trial boxes examining procedure and the management of the engineering shift rota, ensuring clear communication to all stakeholders. You will be responsible for updating the office noticeboard with necessary information and completing return-to-work forms with the Engineering Team. Additionally, you will create and update machinery records, complete documentation for decommissioning machines, and manage PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) documents in compliance with BRC standards.

In your role, you will also create and manage COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) documents, maintain the asset register, and manage engineer actions and job sheets. You will be tasked with creating new suppliers in SAGE and managing supplier lists. Completing visitor medical questionnaires and conducting contractor inductions on-site will also be part of your responsibilities.

Your role as Engineering Administrator is vital in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our engineering operations, ensuring all processes are documented, informed, and managed effectively.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong administration skills to join our team as an Engineering Administrator. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise their workload effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and maintain high attention to detail and accuracy. The candidate should also possess strong numerical skills.

Experience with SAP is a valuable asset that would be beneficial for this position.
