Beauty Advisor (Make Up Artist)

While working with the rest of your dynamic team, you will help create a visually appealing shopping environment by maintaining high standards of visual merchandising.

Job Summary 

This is a job for the beauty obsessed. You will work as a Multi Brand Beauty Advisor working across all brands and categories delivering beauty expertise and experiences, leveraging the wide range and depth of products, cross category within the ELC brand portfolio. You will also leverage social media to create, advertise and execute Multi Branded events. You will be an excellent team player who enjoys learning, being quick to learn about new products and service.

Your role will require ensuring unbiased, engaging customer service, event execution and sales, achieved through exceptional communication skills, trend spotting, social media upkeep and artistic abilities.

Sales and service

Consistently achieve set sales goals and expectations and proactively drive for more.  Foster anomni-channel approach to meet consumer needs and maximize selling opportunities.  Take personal responsibility and ownership of performance and self-development.  Adhere to sales processes and procedures in line with Store/Company guidelines.  Adhere to appearance guidelines and personal standards. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the hero products and services across the ELC Multi Brand portfolio.  Play your part in executing the in-store strategy communicated by both the Assistant business Manager and Business Manager. Showcase knowledge and understanding of key product features and benefits to meet consumer needs. Utilize strong market and industry awareness to shape local strategy as well as influence wider business and organization.  Develop and maintain strong understanding of social media activity, trends and identify sales opportunities. Adhere to and keep up abreast of all communicated company standards, policies, and procedures.  Consistently deliver high touch consumer experiences, be it over the phone, in person or virtual.  Tailor each experience to meet consumer specific needs, leveraging the wider ELC brand, category, and services portfolio.  Proactively seek opportunities to drive omni-channel events and experiences with on-brand use of social media.  Act with pace and accuracy when handling consumer enquiries. 

Make Up Artist

Have a strong passion for make-up and like being creative and having fun with it, while delivering an exceptional consumer experience.  Enjoy coaching others and sharing your passion and make up knowledge. You have excellent communication and empathic skills. A trade is essential during the interview process. 

Operational Excellence

Adhere to Store/Company stock management procedures to ensure stock file accuracy and integrity.  Implement and maintain visual merchandising in line with Brand/Store/Company guidelines. Always contribute to housekeeping to maintain strong retail standards. Take personal responsibility and adhere to Store/Company Security policies and procedures. Fully understand and adhere to Store/Company Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocols. 

Teamwork

Communicate effectively and contribute toward a strong and successful teamworking environment.  Be a team player – open to learning about other brands and supporting to deliver the team goal.  Promote brand/organization culture and image, behaving with respect and integrity at all times.  Be a Multi Brand Ambassador who inspires both peers and consumers.  Share best practice and support colleagues be the best they can be.  Proactively participate in local and national team initiatives and incentives.  Adhere to the set daily/weekly deployment schedules.
