The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students and teachers in the classroom. Your role is essential in ensuring that every student receives the attention and encouragement they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, assisting them in their academic and personal development.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of lessons, ensuring all students can participate and engage.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and supported.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Encourage positive behavior and help students develop essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational environment.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young learners.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to addressing the needs of students.
  • A collaborative mindset, working well with teachers and support staff.
  • Flexibility to assist in various classroom activities and adapt to the evolving needs of students.
