If you are looking for work that suits your lifestyle and needs, becoming a Dorset HealthCare Support Worker could be right for you.

Bank Health Care Support Workers (HCA) work flexibly to fill short term staffing shortages within the teams in our organisation. Shifts can become available up to six weeks in advance, as well as at short notice, so you can plan-ahead or pick up a shift on the day, online or via the smart phone app, straight away.

You can choose the location and shift patterns that suit you and your family needs and commitments. Depending on your experience we can offer you roles within both physical and mental health settings.

You can work in one or many of our sites to find out which one suits you best.

As well as competitive rates of pay you'll be eligible for many of the benefits offered to substantive staff. These include:

Access to the NHS pension scheme An NHS badge entitling you to many NHS benefits Unsocial hours enhancements (where applicable) Paid annual leave as a percentage of work completed Monthly or weekly pay - your choice A comprehensive induction and ongoing mandatory training

Bank workers are paid hourly: £ - £ (Depending on NHS experience)

Main duties of the job

What do we need from you?

NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or, Recent experience within a hospital setting or significant experience within a nursing home/care setting as a carer Someone used to working independently in a care setting with a minimum level of support a minimum of three shifts per month

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced
