How does our Graduate Programme work?

The Programme will launch on Monday 16th September 2024 , it is a full-time, permanent opportunity working in our business based in the South West region. During this time, we help you discover your potential through a range of learning opportunities.  As part of the two-year programme your functional role will be within the Asset Management team. Specifically working on our new enhanced bathing sampling programme. This will involve assisting with selecting and arranging samples to be delivered for further analysis. Being highly organised with managing large spreadsheets and large volumes of data Whilst experience is desirable, if you have the passion and are keen to learn and develop, we welcome applicants from all disciplines.

What can you expect:

A comprehensive week-long induction programme where you will network with colleagues in our business to learn more about us, the Graduate Programme and development opportunities. You will attend site visits and meet our Directors and CEO Hands-on experience with varied, challenging projects. You will have the flexibility to choose your career path as you gain exposure to the different areas of our business  You will receive ongoing training to equip you within your placement throughout the two years. Your manager will support you and give you the tools and training you need on the job. You will spend 1-day a week working towards a professional qualification which will compliment your learning and development, delivered by our college provider You will be assigned a buddy and mentor who will support you when you start and throughout the programme. You will be able to build networks with your fellow graduates as well as senior leaders across the business  Your health, safety, and well-being to be our priority. We respect and value the needs of our people to ensure they have the right work-life balance.

We are looking for graduates who are proactive, innovative, creative, and open to new challenges  Flexible and adaptable to be able to work in different areas of the business to support our business priorities and contribute to making positive improvements Able to work accurately, prioritise work and manage time effectively Motivated, passionate, and driven to achieve goals and objectives Able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to colleagues, at all levels, throughout the business You should expect to be taken out of your comfort zone and discover something new all the time –a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn will be key.
