Government Affairs Manager - Make a Difference in Wales

As a Government Affairs Manager at The Prince's Trust, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to align with Welsh Government and local policy, ensuring that our work has a lasting impact. In this role, manage high-profile meetings with senior politicians, and produce insightful policy responses on critical issues like education, employment, and mental health. Your expertise will guide our strategy and ensure we remain a key influencer in the policy landscape, and help us to secure multi-year public sector funding,
With your deep understanding of government processes, excellent communication skills, and a knack for building strong relationships, you’ll keep our team informed and proactive in a fast-moving political environment. Last year, we helped more than 40,000 Young People, with three in four young people on our programmes moving into a positive outcome in work, education or training. The young people we help face a range of challenges, such as unemployment, mental health issues or some who have been in trouble with the law. We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us. We want to continue having a positive impact on young people’s lives and we couldn’t do this without the important work of Government Affairs Managers
