Learning and Development Partner

Job brief

We are looking for a Learning and Development Partner to support the Recruitment/Training/Induction life cycle at ROC Northwest Head Office, based from home with a requirement to travel in the north west area.

Purpose

Reporting to Divisional Head of L&D Children’s services, the purpose of the role is to deliver training on behalf of the company, ensuring employees are fully aware and trained on all required health and social care training in accordance with company and regulatory expectations. 

Roles and responsibilities

To work as part of the learning and development team in the design and delivery of relevant training to employees.

  • Ensure that all training events run smoothly by:
  • Being organised, timely and well presented.
  • Arrange the course administration in conjunction with the L&D Coordinator.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are available for training and in good working order; materials are those agreed by the group and standardised.
  • Manage any required assessment of training that is delivered, producing reports and recommendations to the Curriculum Design Manager and/or Head of L&D.
  • Manage the evaluation of all training that is delivered, producing reports and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Must have GCSE Maths/English at Grade C level or above or NVQ Level 2.
  • A minimum of 1 year proven relevant work experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
  • Drivers preferred, due to rural location, as well as some travel to our homes as required.
  • Must be well organised that can work as part of a small tram with a positive problem solving approach.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products, especially Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
  • Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
  • Effective communicator, on phone, in writing and in person
  • Must clear an Enhanced DBS check for Children and Adults and able to provide a full employment history for our pre-employment checks.

 

The successful candidate will be offered:

  • A full time position (9am-5:30pm Monday- Friday)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
