When, Millennial Specialty Insurance (“MSI”) partnered with Baldwin Risk Partners in 2019, we were a single-product tech-enabled renters insurance platform with only 18 colleagues. Today, MSI has grown to over 900 colleagues with more than 10 insurance products thru a combination of rapid organic growth and strategic, tech-enabled partnerships. Our goal is to produce proprietary products to our customers that are fast, easy to use, and customizable with a deep focus on the customer experience. We believe that through our scalable, tech-enabled, proprietary platform and products, we will fundamentally change the insurance industry. You will work as a senior DevSecOps engineer on various cloud projects for our company and our partnersYou will apply your expertise in Azure DevOps, security, and automation to ensure the quality, security, and reliability of the cloud solutionsYou will collaborate with other engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver solutions that meet the client's expectations and best practicesYou will mentor and coach junior DevSecOps engineers and share your knowledge and experienceWhat you need
You have at least 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related fieldsYou have experience with Agile development methodologies and practices. You understand what software engineers need to perform their jobs efficiently and build clean, correct applications.You have a strong background in Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure DevOps, Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, Azure Policy, Azure Key Vault, Azure costing, and Azure Active DirectoryYou have a solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools, such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management, code quality, security testing, and monitoring. You know git up and down and have deployed several different CI/CD solutions.You have experience with multiple scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash as well as some experience with SQL and C# or Java.You have experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, ARM templates, or BicepYou have excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsWhat you could add that is not required, but desired
You have experience and knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principlesYou have a background in Container Orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or OpenShiftYou have experience as a software developerYou have experience as a SqlServer DBA or at least know how to administer oneWhat we offer
