Are you a proactive, driven and well organised person with strong IFRS accounting know-how and experience of handling auditors independently to complete within timelines and navigate issues? As the Financial Reporting Assistant Manager , you will assist the Head of Reporting with monthly and annual statutory consolidation and group reporting processes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring well controlled, timely, efficient, scalable, best-in-class financial reporting.

What you will be doing: Assist completion of statutory audits and filing of entity accounts in line with timelines and local laws. Independently taking care of a number of subsidiary financial statements and audits. Preparation of technical papers to ensure compliance with IFRS and other local reporting requirements for all SHL legal entities Assist monthly reporting close process and preparation of consolidated reporting package in line with published timelines, including journals and monthly reconciliations Assist the FP&A, Finance Business Partner and Sales teams in comprehending consolidation reports, IFRS and other technical aspects of accounting as required. Continuously improve the efficiency and control of all consolidation, audit and reporting processes to achieve optimum quality.
What we are looking for from you:

Essential: Qualified ACA with Big 4 or mid tier audit experience Substantial post qualification experience in a Financial Reporting function Strong technical accounting techniques - IFRS and preparation of financial statements Independently overseeing auditors to deliver to timelines Desirable: Working with finance systems Strong verbal and written communication Exceptional stakeholder management Strong organisational and planning experience
