Job Description:

Step Teachers are working alongside a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Secondary school in Norwick. They are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their vibrant School for a long-term position starting immediately or  in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an English Teacher who is eager to shape and educate young minds and prep them for the future.

English Teacher - Role:

  • English Teacher must possess strong knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
  • Maintain a well-organized, tidy, and considerate classroom environment.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, inspiring good behaviour, and a passion for learning.
  • Cooperate with and support colleagues and additional classroom staff.
  • Accurately assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Comply with and implement the school's policies and take part in their supportive educational ethos.

English Teacher - Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience as an English Teacher.
  • A relevant English-related degree is desirable.
  • Experience with KS3-KS5 curriculum (from year 7 up to 6th form GCSE)
