Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and dynamic Cardio-respiratory team at Withybush General Hospital.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Advanced Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Cardiac Rhythm Management/ Implantable Devicesproviding high standards of care and support to patients in Hywel Dda University Health Board.

We are looking for candidates with BHRS or IBHRE accreditation that is required to work without supervision as a competent Physiologist.

Main duties of the job

To liaise closely with Clinical lead Pacing Physiologist to develop and sustain the pacemaker service for Pembrokeshire patients. To perform with competency and autonomy a range of in depth, highly complex procedure, interpreting results based on highly developed skills and theoretical knowledge.

To work as an independent practitioner within a team, to deliver an effective and efficient service with high standards of care.

To perform a full range of routine diagnostic procedures carried out within the department, including some highly specialised procedures.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

BSc Clinical Physiology or BTEC / HTEC MPPM or equivalent Registration Council for Clinical Physiologist (RCCP) or equivalent Associate for SCST examination or equivalent IBHRE / BHRS Accreditation or the equivalent experience
