Super new opportunity in Bristol for a Software QA Engineer with specific aerospace expertise.  I am seeking a skilled Software QA Engineer who has in-depth experience of the Aerospace Software Development Lifecycle, D0-178C and understands the importance of ensuring best practice is employed through each stage of the lifecycle. Suitable applicants should be well educated with the following skill set:
  • Knowledge/ experience of the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong background in software development process
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices
  • Awareness of software / product development frameworks
It would be ideal for the Software QA Engineer to have specific Aerospace expertise and knowledge of:
  • DO-178C
  • Experience with Software Development Frameworks (e.g. CMMI, ASPICE)
  • Knowledge of Safety Software Development to standards: IEC 61508, ISO26262, IEC 62304,
  • An awareness of cyber security standards: ISO 21434, ISO 27001
  • Experience with tools such as: DOORs, SVN, Azure DevOps
The successful Software QA Engineer will join a friendly growing team and support the Process & Quality Manager in assuring aerospace software development project processes and standards are being correctly followed.
