Super new opportunity in Bristol for a Software QA Engineer with specific aerospace expertise. I am seeking a skilled Software QA Engineer who has in-depth experience of the Aerospace Software Development Lifecycle, D0-178C and understands the importance of ensuring best practice is employed through each stage of the lifecycle. Suitable applicants should be well educated with the following skill set:nKnowledge/ experience of the full software development lifecyclenStrong background in software development processnKnowledge of software engineering practicesnAwareness of software / product development frameworksnIt would be ideal for the Software QA Engineer to have specific Aerospace expertise and knowledge of:nDO-178CnExperience with Software Development Frameworks (e.g. CMMI, ASPICE)nKnowledge of Safety Software Development to standards: IEC 61508, ISO26262, IEC 62304,nAn awareness of cyber security standards: ISO 21434, ISO 27001nExperience with tools such as: DOORs, SVN, Azure DevOps

The successful Software QA Engineer will join a friendly growing team and support the Process & Quality Manager in assuring aerospace software development project processes and standards are being correctly followed.

Salary to £40k plus superb benefits, hybrid working, free parking and visa support if required.
