Joining us as Product Owner, you will be part of a team leading the transformational rollout of salesforce at CAI, supporting the Product Manager and Salesforce project’s team through the rollout and consolidation of central business service's into Salesforce, working closely with the development team and alongside the Product Manager, with business and product counterparts in different markets focusing on delivering a best-in-class experience across the UK that enhances our current suite of products and adds value for our customers and business whilst staying ahead of the market and competitors.

Role:

In this role, you will support the Product Manager with the rollout and consolidation of central business service's into Salesforce, lead as the liaison between business users and technical resources, supporting the implementation of business solutions using Salesforce by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; understanding and representing user needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; managing the backlog and monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.

Within the organisation, you’ll work with multiple stakeholders across the wider international business as well as Development, Sales, Operations, Customer Support, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Senior Business Leaders.

You will develop a strong understanding of the business, people, products, and customers to help you develop the right products with your development team to solve the right customer’ problems, supporting research and discovery to evaluate product opportunities and defining the requirements to be built to address those opportunities. You must be able to understand your customers and users and empathise with their problems to develop the right solutions in collaboration with your team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Salesforce Projects team, initially focused on Project Jarvis
  • Supporting the Product Manager in ensuring the company is creating the right business solutions using the right Salesforce-related products, services and Salesforce products.
  • Leading Requirements Elicitation - Understanding and representing user needs including creating and maintain user journey maps.
  • Supporting research and discovery phases to understand your customers and gain references for your launch.
  • Supporting Salesforce Solution/Technical Architect and Senior Salesforce Product Owner to ensure the right solutions are being created and be the voice of the customer, ensuring the team are solving the right customer’ problems
  • Ensuring requirements are clear and creating, refining and prioritising the Salesforce development backlog, ensuring that it contains clear and actionable Epics, Features and User Stories.
  • Managing the current quarters roadmap and communicating status of the backlog through various avenues
  • Leading Quarterly Planning, ensuring a clear view of the priorities, requirements and supporting the technology delivery manager with capacity planning to ensure estimates are clear to plan the next quarters backlog and represent it on the roadmap.
  • Leading delivery management and coordination of features / increments
  • Developing strong relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Product Manager with Stakeholder Communication and Engagement
  • Supporting Go To Market Strategy

Skills / Experience:

  • At least 3 year’s experience in a product role, preferably in a salesforce product role
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce
  • Ability to facilitate a team to consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment with changing and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive rapport with customers, team members, stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and time-management
  • Proven experience in product development, including successful product launches (as an advantage)
  • Proven skills to develop, communicate, and execute innovative and successful product initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate in product development methodologies, especially Agile and Design Thinking
  • Excellent judgment and discretion

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Ideally experience in marketing, retail, technology, or automotive industries
  • Ideally experience in both B2B and B2C environments
