Job summary
LLR PCL is excited to launch a joint recruitment with LLR Integrated Care Board (ICB) tosecond a Senior Project Manager for Planned Care for the ICB. The Manager willdrive system-wide work to transform integrated care across LLR.
PCL and the ICB arecommitted to supporting the postholder in their work to improve end-to-end patientpathways along with healthcare systems and structures for the benefit of thelocal population and the health and social care workforce.
Ifyou are a manager working within LLR and have experience in improving healthcareservices then we want to hear from you. This isan interesting and varied role and would suit a manager that would like tobroaden their knowledge of system working and commissioning.
Thisis an exciting opportunity to represent the interests of patients and widerpopulation of LLR. As the Project Manager you will be driving the improvementand transformation of new pathways of care andfacilitating on-going service development. You will need to ensure fullengagement in and implementation of these changes.
Ideal candidates will have experience of collaborating withstakeholders across organisations to support transformation across LLR. Therole will encompass alignment of strategic and current operational activities,coordinating the transformation of care and ensuring effective clinical engagementto achieve system change.
Main duties of the job
The Project Manager will:
Provide advanced project support for the transformation of Planned Care across the ICB.
Project manage the transformation of end to end pathways. Work with providers to deliver savings and take out cost in provider organisations. Support relevant workforce development. Support the drive to improve efficiencies. To drive out health inequalities in what ever projects are carried out.The post holder will be key to supporting the delivery of the 10 System Expectations aligned to the LLR Model of Care.
Key responsibilities will include:
Carry out day-to-day project management of pathway programme to ensure that projects successfully deliver the desired outcomes within the specified constraints of time and cost.

The combined total of Primary Care Networks is 26. The ICB is accountable for all strategic commissioning and contract management arrangements for the provider contracts. The ICB works collaboratively with the local authorities in addition to the borough/district councils in Leicestershire.

Ability to exercise good judgement, maintain discretion and use initiative. Advanced IT skills including use of Microsoft Office. Ability to analyse very complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources. Demonstrated capability to act upon incomplete information, using experience to make inferences and decision making. Numerate and able to understand complex financial issues combined with deep analytical skills. Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly. Strong organisational skills and ability to carry out workflow planning and resourcing. Ability to maintain confidentiality and trust.

- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area. - Further training or significant experience to post-graduate diploma level. - Evidence of continued professional development.

Experience of providing business support to Senior leaders and managing relationships between senior professionals. Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures. Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes. Experience of managing a team. Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating activities in complex and challenging environments. Experience of co-ordinating technical training programmes for physiological testing Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at senior management team level. Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment. Good understanding of current and anticipated developments that will affect the health sector. Understanding of the public sector.
