HMP Edinburgh Prison Visitor Centre is looking to recruit Relief Project Workers to support the daily running of our service, this role requires experience of working within a busy and at times challenging environment.

Direct experience and skills in the following areas are highlydesirable:

Working with families and young people affected by imprisonment. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Working in partnership with other organisations and Scottish Prison Service colleagues. Supporting volunteers.

The centre is open seven days a week and all centre staff are required to work as part of a rota which covers regular evening and weekend work.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
