About the Role

Barnardo's is seeking a Relief Project Worker to support the daily running of our service at HMP Edinburgh Prison Visitor Centre. As a key member of our team, you will work in a busy and challenging environment, providing support to families and young people affected by imprisonment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with families and young people affected by imprisonment, providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with other organisations and Scottish Prison Service colleagues.
  • Support volunteers in their roles, providing training and guidance as needed.
