Main duties of the job

Working with MHM's successful and dedicated People and Organisational Development Team, you will work alongside a small team of People Advisors and People Business Partners in the delivery of proactive people activity. MHM have recently been awarded Investors in People Silver, specifically for the delivery of programme over the last 2 years which has helped drive a new culture and ways of working with MHM. It is a really exciting to join the team and be part of embedding these new ways of working. We are seeking someone to support our colleagues and management community in providing an efficient, effective, and customer-oriented people service in a truly generalist role. You will also support with all aspects of the employee life cycle, with a focus on employee relations activity, TUPE processes, redundancy and change management processes, attendance management, and performance management. In addition, there is significant scope to be involved in a variety of People Projects including; delivery of our Management Development Programme, IiP project, Wellbeing programme, and systems implementation project. We also actively encourage participation in our professional networks which include EDI and Sustainability committees.

Qualifications

Essential

Relevant HR qualification. Educated to at least NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) CIPD membership (or working towards or willingness to undertake)

Experience

Relevant and recent experience of working within a HR/People position. Working knowledge of current HR issues. Experience of implementing HR monitoring systems. Experience of using HR software. Knowledge of employment legislation and experience of providing guidance. Proven knowledge & experience of providing HR advice/administration.
