Position: Human Resources Officer - EnergyAre you a proactive HR professional with experience in offshore environments? Compass Group, a global leader in food and support services, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to join our offshore team based in Aberdeen.

Position Overview:As the Human Resources Officer for our Energy operations in Aberdeen, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR function in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will collaborate closely with offshore teams to provide HR guidance and support, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and contribute to the development of initiatives to enhance employee engagement and performance.This is a permanent and full-time position based in our office in Westhill, Aberdeenshire with travel as/when required.
Key Responsibilities:Supporting with the delivery of the people strategy including employee engagement, retention, development and performanceBuilding capability and people management skills across our offshore and onshore teams through facilitation, guidance and trainingSupporting the management of the end to end employee lifecycle activities including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding, reward, performance management, talent management and succession planning with recruitment activities includingLeading on HR processes such as large-scale change management including restructuring, mobilisation / demobilisation and TUPESupporting with resolving complex employee relations issues, including absenteeism Supporting local relationships with external trade unions and industry bodiesSupporting organisation wide activities and systems e.g. performance & development reviews, employee engagement survey and talent management, payroll & expenses systemsSupporting the facilitation of employee change activities including but not limited to onboarding, transfer and leaver processes in partnership with resourcing, payroll, contract team etcSupporting due diligence, bids and tender activities, transition and TUPE exercises ensuring effective communication and compliance Qualifications and Skills:Qualified by experience or CIPD qualifiedExperience and knowledge of UK employment law and application offshoreKnowledge and experience of working in a unionised environmentGood understanding of and experience in restructuring, mobilisation and demobilisation of contracts including TUPEStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS softwareWilling to be obtain offshore survival certification and conduct offshore visits
