QA Technician II

Position Objective:
Responsible for all incoming & release processes of the quality assurance function within the raw material team. Highlighting any inconsistencies or issues with the quality or compliance prior to release into manufacture. May also support other quality functions where applicable.
Essential Functions:
Maintain solid understanding of Regulatory and Quality System requirements (ISO13485/FDA CFR). System data entry and review for release. Support updates to SOPs & WINs. Use of Trackwise systems, documenting non-conformities. Appropriate PPE must be worn and used in accordance with the instructions provided to them. Routine archiving of completed records. Participate in personal development to further improve skills and knowledge relevant to your position. Will be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.Education:
Minimum of HND in Quality or Science preferable.
Experience:
Experience within a quality environment is preferred but not essential, full training will be provided. Knowledge of computer applications and current software (Word/ Excel) is essential.
Contacts:
Will collaborate directly with incoming QC and extensively with all other departments on matters relating to quality and service in order to uphold the Company’s dedication to Customer satisfaction. This involves working with people at all levels within the organisation as well as external customers and regulatory bodies.
Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment but may be required to spend some time in quality control laboratory, manufacturing and the warehouse. Availability to work overtime to complete daily tasks.
