EHS Specialist

We are seeking an EHS Technician II to join our busy site EHS team on the Inchinnan Bioproduction site. The successful candidate will provide EHS support to various departments, both on-site and remotely, and assist with day-to-day EHS work, implementing improvements to our site programs and safety culture.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of our site EHS management systems, including Intelex, procedures, and planned safety maintenance.
- Prepare internal EHS metrics and develop associated reports.
- Support the delivery of site EHS communications, including Safety Bites and engagement posts.
- Collaborate with others at all levels in the organization to facilitate effective communication regarding safety and environmental matters.
- Assist with addressing LSG EHS Achievement program actions and preparing for future audits.
- Support with coordinating EHS training and communications for various groups.
- Participate in Tier meetings and facilitate EHS Gembas and audits.
- May facilitate and assist with incident, near miss, hazard ID investigations, and root cause analysis.
- Support the development and implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Perform routine EHS tasks, administration, and systems support.
- An interest in Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Familiarity with basic site safety systems, including Intelex, risk assessments, etc.
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to work with integrity, intensity, involvement, and continuous improvement.
