Location: Grantham
Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 Per Day

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you passionate about supporting young people with SEND and SEMH needs? Do you want to make a positive difference in a secondary school environment?

GSL Education Lincoln are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Grantham.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide support, encouragement, and guidance to help students achieve their best.

Responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant:

  • Supporting students with SEND/SEMH in a classroom setting.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering tailored educational plans.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Working 1:1 or with small groups to support learning and development.
  • Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements for Learning Support Assistant:

  • Experience working with SEND and SEMH students (essential).
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role.
