A temporary opportunity has been created to facilitate the planning and effective delivery of the Lancaster University’s Pre-sessional English programmes, which are expected to support around 400 to students in the development of their English language and study skills.

We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic person who will provide a high level of administrative support for the University’s International Pathways team and contribute to the achievement of the University’s strategic goals by ensuring that an efficient and high level of service is delivered to staff and students and related stakeholders. This role will provide experience to support future career development in international higher education.

You will have a high level of oral and written communication skills as well as excellent organisational skills. The ability to be flexible and co-ordinate a varied workload is essential. Experience of operating a range of administrative processes and systems, ideally within an educational establishment, including Microsoft Office, are essential. Flexibility is required at key points during the year when evening work is necessary.

The post is a fixed term appointment for 4 months and applications for secondment are welcomed.
