A core part of Preqin’s growth plan is enhancing our rapidly growing paid institutional research product, known as Insights+. Our Insights+ business unit is focused on meeting the needs of customers across all our segments by providing them with deep, data driven research that can help understand what’s happening across the alternatives market, and drive their decision making – especially through our research reports. You’ll need to understand our customers, how Preqin can help them, and work out where the opportunities are for us to make the biggest impact.    As a Product Manager in our Insights+ business unit, you’ll work closely with the Business Unit Lead, our team of writers, and a wider cross-functional product development team including designers and engineers, to identify and bring to market new ways of helping our customers through our research.    This role will partner closely with our key clients, prospects, engineering and design teams, global data research teams, customer success and sales teams to determine the direction and delivery of the company’s products.  Department Product Employment Type Permanent - Full Time Location London Workplace type Hybrid Reporting To Head of Research Insights What you’ll be doing:
  •  Contribute to identifying the biggest new opportunities for Insights+ and develop a roadmap to chase those opportunities, working closely with the BU lead and cross-functional team to identify how best to deliver on our strategic goals. 
  • Build effective relationships with key strategic customers and leverage this network for continuous discovery and product evolution. 
  • Talk to customers continuously to better understand their workflows, how they use Preqin’s data and tools, and create solutions that help them achieve their goals and provide significant competitive advantage to Preqin. 
  • Improve the operational processes that drive the production of our reports, so that we can create them more efficiently, and with maximum transparency for customers on the insights we’ve provided. 
  • Identify and track the right metrics for your area and your customers and use those metrics to make our products better. 
  • Work closely and collaboratively with a team of engineers and designers – get everyone aligned around a problem, work together on out how to solve it, and demonstrate great execution to turn ideas into real-world products. 
  • Build iteratively and share feedback with customers continuously as you build and evolve the product.

  • You take ownership and responsibility for problems, and if you see something wrong, you make it better. 
  • Experience of institutional research products is preferred.
