As a PrincipalHardware Engineer you will be working to define develop and verifycutting edge hardware platforms that our customers will use tointroduce a brand new and often disruptive technology onto themarket.

In this role you will takeresponsibility to ensure the correct Electronics design anddevelopment process and procedures are in place to deliver highquality design outputs from the design team. You will also directlyengage with the customer to capture their requirements andspecification and then continue to lead a multidisciplinary projectteam to design and develop the solution in support of our customers goals.

To be successful in the roleyou will require excellent communication skills and relish theopportunity to rollup your sleeves and get stuck into developmentactivities.

The varied nature of ourwork means you will be encouraged to keep broadening and deepeningyour knowledge andskills.


Responsibilities:

1.Digital and Analogue PCB circuit design and layout(Altium).

2.High speed digital PCB circuit design and layoutincluding FPGAs SoCs ADC &DACs.

3.Power supplydesign.

4.System and circuit modelling (SPICEPython).

5.Leadership and support of multidisciplinaryengineering teams.

6.Design and test for EMC and environmentalcompliance.

7.High volume manufacturingexperience.

8.System modelling/ automation (SPICE MatlabPython).

9.Design and test for compliancetesting.

10.Project planning andreporting.

11.Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancementsand apply new knowledge to enhance product developmentprocesses.


Requirements:

1.Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevantfield.

2.Proven experience (10 years) in electronicsengineering.

3.Excellent problemsolving skills and attention todetail.4. Effective communication skillsboth verbal andwritten.

5.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentincluding reviews planning andretrospectives.

6.Eagerness to learn adapt and tackle newchallenges.


BonusSkills:

1.Mechanical design with 3DCAD.

2.Software and firmware development in support oftesting or interfacing to electronics (e.g. Python C/C VHDLLinux).
