We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Hardware Engineer to join our team at Tiger Resourcing Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge hardware platforms that meet the needs of our customers.

In this role, you will work closely with our customers to capture their requirements and specifications, and then lead a multidisciplinary project team to design and develop the solution. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct electronics design and development process and procedures are in place to deliver high-quality design outputs from the design team.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements and apply new knowledge to enhance product development processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop digital and analogue PCB circuits using Altium.
  2. Design and develop high-speed digital PCB circuits, including FPGAs, SoCs, ADCs, and DACs.
  3. Design and develop power supplies.
  4. Model and simulate electronic systems using SPICE and Python.
  5. Lead and support multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  6. Design and test for EMC and environmental compliance.
  7. Have experience with high-volume manufacturing.
  8. Model and automate electronic systems using SPICE, Matlab, and Python.
  9. Design and test for compliance testing.
  10. Plan and report on projects.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements and apply new knowledge to enhance product development processes.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  2. 10 years of experience in electronics engineering.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including reviews, planning, and retrospectives.
  6. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and tackle new challenges.

Bonus Skills:

  1. Mechanical design with 3D CAD.
  2. Software and firmware development in support of testing or interfacing to electronics.
  3. RF design.
