We are OCU One Company United. We arecurrently recruiting for multiple High & Low VoltageElectricians to join our installation team.

JobResponsibilities:

Carry outelectrical installation work efficiently ensuring work installed iscompliant with the National Working Rules for Electrical ContactingIndustry and other relevant legislations.

Ensureall work is installed in a safe manner that will not present harmor danger to yourself or others.

Assemble installtest and maintain electrical wiring equipment appliances apparatusand fixtures using hand/power tools.

Read andinterpret electrical schematics and diagrams.

Glanding and terminating to circuit breakerstransformers or other electrical apparatuscomponents.

Inspect electrical systems equipmentand components to identify hazards defects and the need foradjustment or repair and to ensure compliance withcodes.

Advise management on whether continuedoperation of equipment could behazardous.

Troubleshooting and diagnosingelectrical faults or issues and making necessaryrepairs.

Collaborate with other tradespeople andprofessionals such as engineers and project managers to completeprojects successfully.

Undertake training asrequired to maintain or develop competencylevels.

Key SkillsRequired:

Must have been aregistered apprentice or undergone some equivalent method oftraining and have had practical training in electrical installationwork.

Must have obtained an NVQ Level 3 inelectrical installation work or equivalent.

Musthave had experience working as anElectrician.

Communications skills ability tointeract with other skilled trade professionals designers andclients.

Knowledge of national and local buildingcodes.

Proficiency in using hand and power toolsand testing equipment.

Ability to work wellindividually and as part of a team.

Ability toidentify and mitigate electrical hazards.

Abilityto manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and completetasks within the allotted time frame.

Attentionto detail is vital to ensure highquality standards and complianceto regulations.

Travel may benecessary.
