Situated within our Investment & Wealth Solutions (IWS) function, and working in close partnership with the Head of Transactional Wealth & Insurance, you will have a unique opportunity to redefine, develop and execute the customer strategy relating to Brokerage & Trading specifically.

In this role you will:
Design the Brokerage strategy for the UK and create a distinctive client-led trading brand proposition with a clear vision, positioning HSBC as the market leader in the context of the competitive environment. Focus on growing market share of the total addressable market (TAM) of active traders. Create customer centric growth strategies, in line with HSBC's broader wealth business across existing WPB propositions such as Personal, Premier and Private Banking. Deliver commercial performance and growth as committed in HSBC financial plans, including revenue growth and cost management. Work with key stakeholders to evaluate and prioritize developments and initiatives designed to meet identified customer needs. Continually iterate and develop the future state of HSBC’s Brokerage and Trading brand, using strategies that support agile, continuous delivery and reasons to communicate with clients. Using market intelligence – you will identify external industry trends, opportunities for innovation and partnerships to differentiate HSBC from competitors and complement our existing offering to customers. Actively manage risk and control environment, ensuring resilience, regulatory compliance, a high degree of security and safety of client positions, trade execution, platforms, and operating model. RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Extensive experience within a UK Wealth or Private Banking setting, focusing on proposition development or product management - essential Experience in mid to senior roles in an investment product development capacity, especially in equities or listed product market infrastructure - essential Established track record of project and financial delivery within large financial services organisations, especially with external partners - essential Proven people management track record - essential. Experience in leadership at specialist brokerages, bank-brokers or fintechs - desirable Membership and/or participation in industry forums - desirableThis role can be based either in London or Birmingham
