The purpose of this role is to provide technical & administrative support to nationwide business restructuring staff in respect of formal insolvency appointments, whilst assisting with the management of a small number of people within the Case Management Team (‘CMT’). This includes taking responsibility for your own workload as well as supporting senior staff. This role is responsible to a designated senior group member and ultimately to the Group Manager.

You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

You’ll be someone with:

CII or CPI qualification Extensive experience working on formal corporate insolvency appointments Preferably a 2:1 honours degree Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Well presented with a professional level of communication – both verbal and written Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to use own initiative and take a flexible approach. No professional training contract is provided with this role. However, ongoing training is provided to meet role specific needs
