Essential criteria

Good standard of numeracy and literacy Completion of a competency-based workbook or equivalent relevant experience to vocational level 3

Technical Skills Competencies /Knowledge

Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative. IT literate Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Understanding of basic physiology e.g. normal vital signs, fluid balance, nutritional requirements etc. Competent in setting up and maintaining sterile fields - be able to check sterility and handle instruments required for a procedure Diathermy- Electrosurgery competent Venepuncture Knowledge of care and related procedures, clinical observations, relevant legislation;
