We are seeking an outstanding Business Intelligence Engineer on a 12-month fixed term contract to uncover key insights about marketing efficiency of Prime Video owned and operated marketing channels across the globe and improve churn prevention.

Key job responsibilities
•Support the analytical needs of stakeholders in the marketing, finance and PV product teams, including analytical insight, automated report building and metric design
•Build predictive models for customer impressions and partner with finance on business cases
•Partner with technology teams to ensure availability of required data sources
•Ensure that the quality and timeliness of analytic deliverables meet business expectations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- 2+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering within a technology environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
