Brett Martin is a firmly established global business, manufacturing an ever-growing range of plastic and building products.
Due to continuous growth and investment, we are seeking to recruit a number of new Process Operators , who will have the opportunity to join an exciting and innovative workplace, working with state of the art machinery and equipment.
Rate of pay : £15.34 per hour (this includes shift premiums )
This shift operates 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights (12 hour shifts ) 4 days week 1 and 3 days week 2 including every other weekend
About The Role
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
Perform routine tests on samples to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Document and report any quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.
Production Reporting:
Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
Report production data to supervisors and assist in analysing production performance.
Process Improvement:
Suggest and implement improvements to production processes and workflows.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Housekeeping:
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
Ensure that all tools and materials are stored properly.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with other team members to achieve production goals.
Communicate with supervisors and other departments to resolve production issues.
Training and Development:
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new procedures, equipment, and technologies.
