We are looking for a HR analyst to join our HR operations team in Peterborough.

You will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient technical service to Bauer Media UK and internally within the HR team; supporting the monthly payroll, benefits and reporting processes. You will be the go-to expert for all things HR system-related, tackling technical queries with finesse and efficiency.

You will take charge of managing vast amounts of data within our HR system and ensure seamless integrations. Your role will involve gathering key insights and crafting comprehensive management information, presenting it to stakeholders to drive informed business decisions. You will own the HR Dashboard and translate data into actionable insights, showcasing your curiosity and understanding of the bigger picture.

You will be working from Home and our office location in Peterborough.

What you will do

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION

Responsible for technical HR system queries resolution and employee self-service support, managing timelines and stakeholders for data projects, setting up employee background information, resolving IT service tickets, identifying process improvements, managing system outages escalation, auditing system data, challenging business requests, testing new systems, overseeing mass data updates, and maintaining HR/process system changes.

REPORTING

Responsible for constructing, customising, analysing, and delivering all reporting information, both internal and external, exhibiting curiosity for broader insights and providing solutions accordingly. Interpret data to stakeholders, question assumptions, and ensure timely delivery of agreed solutions while gathering and acting upon feedback. Initiate data checks for accuracy and compliance, produce and analyse legislative mandatory reporting, extract and manage HR system data, amalgamate insights to produce management information, represent the UK HR team on HR Analytics to key stakeholders, and integrate multiple data sources into management reports.

Responsible for resolving benefit queries, processing pension auto-enrolment monthly, ensuring compliance with HMRC in salary sacrifice schemes, handling benefit claims including data gathering and trust proposal settlements, ensuring accuracy in benefit calculations, identifying relevant employee benefits for annual payroll/P11D reporting, and managing the annual window encompassing testing, customer queries, reporting, and technical support.

PAYROLL

Responsible for collaborating with COE and payroll team to address data integration issues, extracting complex payroll data from reporting tools, ensuring accuracy in data files for leaver access to payroll system, and facilitating annual internal audits to ensure HR process compliance by providing necessary reports and information.

GENERAL

Manage training for team members on HR systems, create technical solutions to enhance HR operational processes, handle contractual administration for HR and executive employees, and lead HR team improvement projects to ensure deliverables are met.
