RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic business based in Stockport who are recruiting a Senior Accounts Assistant to cover a 12 month maternity leave. You will join a small friendly finance team and work closely with the Management Accountant.

The Role
- To support the finance department on a day-to-day basis and ensure financial information is kept up to date
- Raising sales invoices, posting and allocating sales ledger receipts
- Assisting with credit control duties
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting the management accountant with month end reporting
- Some payroll duties
- Be available as the first point of contact for any accounts queries
- Provide support and training to the accounts assistants
The Person
- At least 2 years+ in a similar role at a senior level
- Ideally AAT qualified but QBE will be considered
- Experience with training or overseeing a small team would be an advantage
- Experience using SAGE200 would be an advantage
