The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for young children. As a Nursery Third In Charge/Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in supervising and leading a team of nursery practitioners to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education to children.
Qualifications
- Hold a minimum of Level 3 Early Years qualification or above, with a strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
- Demonstrated experience as a Room Leader in a nursery setting, showcasing exceptional leadership, organizational capabilities, and a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Thorough understanding of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and proficient knowledge of safeguarding procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for children.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong leadership abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and families.
- Commitment to advancing diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursery environment, and promoting an environment that fosters respect and understanding.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of nursery practitioners to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education, providing continuous guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Develop and execute a diverse range of age-appropriate activities and learning experiences that cater to children's unique interests and developmental needs.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed and accurate records, and fostering transparent and open communication with parents and families to ensure their involvement in their child's development.
- Uphold a safe, secure, and hygienic environment by adhering to robust health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
