We have an exciting opportunity to work for Royal Mail, considered to be the leader in its field of deliveries. Royal Mail are nationally recognised, offering an exciting opportunity to begin a career within the postal industry. Pay rates start at £13.37 per hour, rising to £15.36 on Sundays. This position is based in Cambridge.

Please note, all staff will need a full UK Driving Licence to drive a manual vehicle to be accepted. For insurance purposes, you must have no more than 6 points and no major convictions as you may be required to drive a company vehicle from time to time.

Main Duties of Delivery Person:

  • Delivering letters and small parcels to local homes and businesses, on foot and sometimes using a company van
  • Sorting mail before leaving the depot
  • Using a hand-held computer device to act as a routing system and capture customer signatures
  • Processing returns
  • Delivering excellent customer service and representing Royal Mail to your best ability

Shifts for Delivery Person (Must be flexible with your hours):

  • 07:00 - 15:40, including occasional weekend working

Pay:

  • Monday - Saturday: £13.37ph
  • Sunday: £15.36ph
  • Paid weekly

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to complete Royal Mail's vetting process which includes a DBS check.
