Position Overview:

The Quality Control Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the quality control department, assisting with documentation, record-keeping, coordination of quality-related activities, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems.

Primary Duties:

Maintain and update quality control documentation, including standard operating procedures (sops), work instructions, quality manuals, and other relevant documentsCreation and upkeep of production specification sheets. 15%Creation of customer certificates of analysis and conformance, receive and maintain supplier certificates of analysis. 25%Maintain and update quality control documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, quality manuals, and other relevant documents. Creation and upkeep of production specification sheets.Creation of Customer Certificates of Analysis and Conformance, receive and maintain supplier Certificates of Analysis.Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.Manage and organise quality records, including inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) documentation.Ensure that quality control documentation and records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.Support the preparation and execution of internal and external quality audits, including compiling documentation, assisting auditors, and tracking audit findings and corrective actions.Provide administrative support for quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and reporting on quality performance metrics.Assist in the investigation of quality issues and deviations, including documenting root causes, facilitating corrective actions, and tracking resolution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, and procurement, to address quality-related concerns and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a quality control or regulated industry environment.Knowledge of quality management principles, standards, and practices (e.g., ISO 9001, etc). would be beneficial.Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, document management systems).Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
