We are seeking an experienced Supply and Production Planning Manager to support our internal and external supply chain partners, including supply of raw materials, components, and finished products. The role will be responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of production schedules, ensuring that goods are produced efficiently and on time. The role will also involve analysing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and working closely with suppliers to optimise the supply chain to ensure on-time delivery of material while guaranteeing quality products to our customers.

Internal and external Customer delight is key with this role and the ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering Operations and Supply to a very high standard. The goal is to assure safe, high quality, cost effective operations and services aiming to the long-term success of our business and team.

Requirements

Day to day management and responsibility for:

  • Purchasing
  • 3rd Party and Supplier logistics
  • Production Planning - 3rd party and Internal production plans
  • Inventory management
  • Develop and implement production plans using the MRP system, to meet customer demand while optimising resources.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with sales forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Monitoring and analysing production data to identify inefficiencies, recommending and implementing systems and tools to improve production scheduling and tracking.
  • Managing inventory levels to minimise excess stock and reduce costs.
  • Support the negotiation of contracts and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Working with the Compliance team to assure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures to drive safe and compliant activities.
  • Responsible for the training and development of staff within the team.
  • Instil energy in the team and act with Wild Nutrition values at the heart of decision making
  • Own department key performance indicators and use to drive continuous improvement and productivity in their business area, such as but not exclusively Cost of Supply, OTIF etc..
  • Identify, analyse, and mitigate risks in the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Proven reliable experience relevant to the role
  • Familiarity with contract management, procurement and sourcing
  • Knowledge of warehousing, shipping, and inventory procedures
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
  • Engaging approach to people management.
  • Resilient to change and issue management.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
