Job summary

We are seeking to appoint a talented MRI lead radiographer to be based at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Liverpool , and you will be key in providing the best possible experience for our patients.

Although Liverpool will be your main base, we provide Radiology services at our other sites at the CDC in Liverpool and at our Wirral site and cover may be required at the other sites on occasion.

As MRI Clinical Specialist Radiographer, you will be part of a dedicated imaging team which includes Imaging Assistants, Radiographers, modality Clinical Specialists, Radiologists and MRI Physicists and will benefit from their experience and expertise.

You will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, organisational skills, expert MRI knowledge, adaptability and effective communication skills both written and verbal.

Main duties of the job

In leading the MRI team at Liverpool, you will be responsible for the day to day clinical service. You will manage the implementation of legislation in addition to Trust and department policies and procedures including audit, risk management and staff management. The department has a Siemens Sola.
