The second all-girls school based in Wandsworth South London is looking for an experienced and qualified Health and Social Care Teacher who can deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 following the UK curriculum. This role will be part-time covering H&S care subjects and half covering general duties. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school and join a well-organised humanities department as part of the team. This position is to start as soon as possible on the full-time basis.Your new role 
Starting ASAP, you will be responsible for teaching Health and Social Care across KS3 and KS4, following the UK national curriculum. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons while using appropriate teaching methods and resources, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils’ work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate, and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents’ evenings and other school functions – such as promoting general progress and wellbeing of students, and act as form tutor.What you'll need to succeed 
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching Health and Social Care subjects across KS3 and KS4.You must be available to start asap and be ready to work till the end of the year, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.What you'll get in return
