Hidden away in the National Trust village of West Wycombe, the Artisan workshop is a charming old building in contrast to the exciting and ever changing jewellery designs it holds inside. Renowned for its homely feel, Artisan provides its customers with a warm and welcoming environment where they experience a highly personalised design service curated by Justines talent for design and her team of goldsmiths. Despite the high quality of their pieces, the team at Artisan pride themselves on their friendly, inclusive and approachable attitude to their work.

Established 15 years ago, Artisan has a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced goldsmith to join the team.

About the Job

As a Goldsmith at Artisan you will be working onsite in our bright, warm and fully equipped workshop. Set in the picturesque village of West Wycombe; we are surrounded by countryside, perfect if you enjoy a lunchtime walk.

We are looking for an experienced, friendly and creative goldsmith to join our small team. This job will involve mostly bespoke work with a diverse range of unique commissions and will include but will not be limited to:

Creation of bespoke pieces from scratch Jewellery remodelling Cleaning and assembling mounts Stone setting is a bonus but not a requirement

About You

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in a similar environment and will be creative, cheerful and passionate about the process of creating unique pieces of art.

High quality standards are a must, and you will need to be comfortable working alongside our two friendly workshop dogs.

Being a small team, we are looking for someone friendly, relaxed and keen to gel with these dynamics.

Expereince and Skills

Please note: You MUST have a minimum of 5 years full time experience as a working goldsmith or jobbing jeweller in a similar work environment. We are unfortunately unable to consider applications for candidates without this level of experience.

Hours

Full time or part time considered, freelance preferred but not essential.

Hours would be 10am to 5.30pm

Salary

Competitive salary dependant on experience.
