As a Junior Assistant Customer Service, you will be responsible to support the team lead within the open counter team both in generating business and daily operation by providing good customer service and delivering sale of products and services offered by the bank. This is a full time permanent position.

Key responsibilities

  • To support the team lead in the open counter team both in generating business and daily operation
  • To conduct sales interviews, identifying customer needs and ensure they are offered products and services to suit their requirements
  • Provide excellent service to the customers aiming to deliver good customer outcome
  • Open both individual accounts and companies’ accounts
  • To conduct and fulfil KYC compliance requirements
  • Support the review team to contact customers to obtain the relevant information needed
  • To ensure the smooth operation of open counter including telephone calls, incoming emails, incoming letters, banking hall shifts and more
  • To ensuring that all regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering, internal controls and all Bank and departmental policies and procedures are complied with including business continuity planning etc.

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry and proven track record in similar business stream
  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Good knowledge of Retail Banking procedures
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
