TheAnalyst Payments and Innovation will work as a supporting policyadvisor on a wide remit of
issuesrelating to payments and regulatory engagement but with a focus onissues relating to digital
andinnovation. You will coordinate activity on key policy issuesrelevant to domesticand
international payments such aslegislative developments pertinent activities of the regulatorsand
other key externalstakeholders.

Thisrole will involve working with the wider Payments and Innovationteam to develop policyand
advocacy on behalf of ourmembers. The Analyst will have key responsibilities includingmonitoring
and reportingundertaking horizon scanning and building relationships with keystakeholders. They
will alsoprovide policy and secretariat support to working groups andcommittees ensuring they
receivetimely and quality inputs that inform their work and allowseffective delivery againstagreed
workplans.

Keyresponsibilities:
Provide supportto key working groups and committees writing papers and liaisingwith senior
levelmembers.
Developing a strongunderstanding of the digital money and payments ecosystem tosupport
policy and advocacywork.
Providing regulatorycoordination for the team including keeping a record ofupcoming
meetings and briefingrequirements and liaising with team members to collateinputs.
Engage closely with andsupport colleagues and groups working oncrosscutting
projects/workstreamson issues across payments innovation anddigital.
Provide relevant marketand regulatory insights in addition to market wide horizonscanning
and monitoring to informtheir own business planning.
Responsibility for preparing consultation responses Committee andBoard papers and
communicatingwith colleagues both internally andexternally.

Skillsdesired:
Some knowledge of thepayments market and how it works would bedesirable.
Some knowledge ofdigital and innovation topics including new digital money suchas
stablecoinscryptoassets.
Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills together with the ability toeffectively
manage complexstakeholder relationships.
Excellent written communication skills with experience of draftingdocuments in a clear
concise andaccurateway.
