As the Packhouse Manager, you ll play a pivotal rolein orchestrating the success of their soft fruit season. Yourresponsibilities will include expertly managing and training aseasonal staff of 40-50 individuals, ensuring smooth operations,and fostering a culture of excellence.
TheRole
-Provide exceptional personnelmanagement to efficiently organize and train seasonalstaff
-Implement and enhance BRC food processing systemsand HACCP principles for fruit and Freezedrying
-Strategically manage stocks to meet packingrequirements, including packaging, crates, labels, andfilm
-Deliver accurate and timely reports for customersand senior management
-Oversee packing and dispatchprocesses to meet customer specifications
TheCandidate
-Hands-on experience in foodprocessing and familiarity with off and in-line labelling andprinting systems.
-Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
-Ability to collaborate with externalpartners for orders and transportarrangements
-Proficiency in quality management and salesorder processing
-Understanding of sage accountingprocesses
