Site Operative

About the Role

Location: Bideford Recycling Centre, Devon

Salary: £11.54 per hour (see benefits below) Working hours: 35.5 winter / 40 summer (hours TBC at interview) Working days:  Thursday to Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday off. (Working weekends) Start Times: Weekdays 08:45, Weekends 09:45. Finish Times: Summer (April to September) Weekdays 17:15, Weekends 18:15. Winter (October to March) 16:45

Opportunity for training and progression,  Training available for mobile plant, no previous experience necessary as full novice training provided,

What you’ll do:

Providing excellent levels of customer service, you will advise and assist members of the public on how to use the site in order to maximise recovery of materials they are depositing and keeping the site tidy.

Key responsibilities will include:

Maintain accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.

What you’ll need to apply:

Essential:

Excellent customer service skills with the desire to go the extra mile. A team player but able to work independently.
