Observability Engineer System Center Operations Manager(SCOM)

As an Observability Engineer your rolewill be to implement the strategy and product roadmaps for ourmonitoring technology working within the Bank’s widerarchitectural approach.

For this role you will havedemonstrable experience in the following:

• Expert in Microsoft System Center OperationsManager (SCOM) including Management Pack authoring using VisualStudio Authoring Extensions (VSAE)
• Anunderstanding and experience of different monitoring technologiesand how they can be exploited to deliver insights and businessvalue
• Monitoring platforms serving multiplebusiness units and use cases (such as Security IT Operationstransaction monitoring)
• Experience withintegrating monitoring tools with data sources and other monitoringautomation and ITSM tools
• Automating manualprocess and driving efficiencies
• Have strongdata analysis skills correlating data from multiple datasources
• Working on multiple workstreams todeadlines taking care of conflicting and changing demands across asophisticated portfolio
• Good judgementproblemsolving and analytical skills. Have the ability to balanceand analyse a variety of internal and external sources ofinformation.
• Have familiarity with Agile waysof working as well as working within an ITIL framework for supportresponsibilities
• Have good socialinterpersonal skills with an ability to interpret and presentinformation to recipients including senior management usingsuitable modes of communication.
• Have astrong record of forming and maintaining positive relationshipswith business colleagues and demonstrating a curiosity about andunderstanding of business processes.
