Service Technician Onshore/Offshore

The Role :
As a Multi-Disciplined Service Technician, duties include the assembly, test, operating, service and maintenance of ours and third-party equipment both onshore and offshore.
This role will include duties both in the workshop and offshore.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• When working on company equipment to report to and take direction from onshore/offshore supervisors.
• To actively participate in pre and post job briefings and to ensure that appropriate knowledge transfer takes place.
• To become familiar with company and third-party equipment, to follow appropriate procedures during assembly, testing, operations, servicing, and maintenance of this equipment.
• To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
• To be responsible for own safety and the safety of others within the workplace by working in a safe, tidy and efficient manner
• To carry out various other general duties as directed and to represent the company in a professional manner.
• To always maintain a clean and safe working area
• To ensure compliance with defined HSE policies and procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
• To ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies.

Any other reasonably delegated responsibilities as instructed by line management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirement

Who are we looking for?

Ideally you will be time served in a mechanical, hydraulic role with workshop and/or offshore experience with a relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or similar.

Skills & Experience:

• Essential is previous experience in an offshore environment.
• Good knowledge of mechanically operated tools and diesel engines.
• Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems and the control components within these systems.
• Strong focus on client satisfaction.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience With Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel.

Ideally you will also have experience of diesel, hydraulic, UHP or HP water pumping.
In addition, knowledge of hydraulic circuits, plant machinery experience and a good knowledge of subsea services industry equipment.
