Job summary

We are looking for exceptional nurses to join our team on Ward 26 for a fixed term 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.

We welcome applications from Nurses who are experienced, newly qualified or due to qualify.

We are a 33-bed medical ward caring for acutely ill adults, we specialise in diabetic and endocrinology.

Main duties of the job

We provide 24 hour care and the successful candidate would be expected to work shifts on an internal rotation basis.

You will be required to deliver quality care in line with the Trust care values, commitment, dedication and enthusiasm for the role.

If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have an enhanced DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 months.

Essential

1st Level NMC Registration Evidence of Professional Development Suitable for newly qualified or experienced staff nurse Experience of maintaining accurate records Relevant clinical knowledge and experience

Desirable

Act as a practice supervisor Willing to undertake NMC Assessor and mentorship Relevant Degree or willing to register to work towards degree Relevant or willingness to undertake relevant module/course NHS Experience Awareness of Health Policies and the changing NHS environment
